There´s a nearby lake located in Mielahti, only 3 km east of Jämi, with beaches where you can taxi directly onto the shore with your seaplane. Transportation from Mielahti to Jämi Airfield can be arranged. Mogas and AVGAS available on request. Map
10 € per aircraft, including tickets to the event for all occupants in the airplane.
Pilots and aircraft which want to take part in the "Builder of the Year" competition are requested to land on runway 09/27 where a separate parking area is reserved for the competition participants. These aircraft must arrive by 12 o´clock noon on Saturday, July 10 at the very latest.
This runway should be used for all normal operations.
Will be closed and only used by those aircraft which are participating in the airshows. If you absolutely must land there for instance due to strong crosswinds on runway 09/27, you must use the radio well in advande to announce your intentions so that the safety of the traffic is guaranteed at all times.
Arrivals or departures while the airshow is in progress may have to be limited for safety reasons.
